A very excited Greenie Land Gang set off to Bloom in the Phoenix Park Dublin last Friday looking for fun and inspiration, they were not disappointed!
We were delighted to support this event free of charge by hosting a colouring-in area and colouring-in competition - with free copies of Gordon Goes to Greenieland won throughout the course of the day.
How time is flying! We are now at the half way mark and the Greenie Land St. Patricks Festival float is very much coming to life. It has turned into a fantastic community effort and we cannot thank people enough in particular our amazing volunteer float builders Denis Brown and Kay Woodcock.

A short clip with Morag talking to Teresa Mannion RTE TV western reporter about how redundancy in the corporate sector led her to thinking about other skills and eventually coming up with the concept of 'Greenieland' and producing Greenieland Interactive's first product the book 'Gordon Goes to Greenieland' (1.40 onwards)
Barnardos provide bereavement services for children and are using Gordon Goes to Greenieland as part of these services.
Although Gordon Goes to Greenieland is not primarily about bereavement - it is very much a book about the environment, it is part of the story as Grandad reaches the end of his life and wants Gordon his young grandson to keep his garden alive. The bereavement element of the story is told in a very gentle way and we have had some wonderful feedback from Barnardos and other parents on how beneficial Gordon Goes to Greenieland is proving to be....
For every 10 books sold we provide one book to Barnardos free of charge. The book can be previewed and purchased at www.greenieland.ie
Ah yes, it's that time of year again and Greenie is well excited! He was out digging his raised beds today and preparing them for red onions and scallions.... Gordon and his wibbly wobbly watering can came in very handy!
